Nice terra cotta color clay for kids craftsThis terra cotta colored clay does stain so put down protective covering before starting. My family used this to make a variety of projects form simple pinch pots to using cookie cutters to make ornaments and garlands. The clay is easy to work with. Add some water if it is too dry or to smooth out edges. Takes 2-3 days to dry depending on thickness of the finished piece.

Just learning.I was trying to make a resin mold and am new to this activity. I found that this would not work as I could not get the mold to release the object after the mold and resin had cured. Also the color was very busy staining my fingers and every thing else it touched. .

DO NOT BUYI have NO idea why you would EVER market this product.
It is the WORST product I have EVER bought for my children. Period.
For tr love of your own sanity, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.
CRAYOLA STOP MAKING THIS AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL STUFF!!!
I thought my kids turning bright orange would be a one time thing, the pot would dry, they'd plant something and life would go on. I was SO wrong and I want to cry!
It re-melts and becomes the BIGGEST MESS EVER!! My whole flipping house is orange, as are my children. I can't get this off my walls, or their hands!
Save yourself, run away. Tun as fast as you can!!

DisappointingI bought this for my son's social studies project (ancient temple). Everything was fine and it looked great until the next day when it developed several large and small cracks. I looked online for suggestions to fix (found none on Crayola's site) and saw that adding too much water could cause cracking. But he really didn't add much water at all - just a few drops for the entire project (half the bucket). Despite water being named as a cause, we followed instructions to create slip using water to fix. But within a day, more cracks appeared. He worked so hard on this project, but was embarrassed to turn it in. What a disappointment.

Cracks with ageAt the time that I purchased and used it 6 years ago for my elderly dog's pawprint, it seemed like a great product with a deep impression of her paw. Over time the clay has cracked and there are crystals in the cracks. It's rather disappointing.
