Good for sashing
I prefer to bind quilts with the backing, so I actually use this for sashing and borders. Cutting is not my strength in quilting, so this is a must for me. Not super sturdy, but does the job fine.

Nicks easily!
Very flimsy. Although I cut very carefully, I nicked it several times, and the side of the ruler peeled away. I have not had this happen on any other ruler.

Great Ruler
I love this ruler, not only does it make it easier to make binding, the length comes in handy for all my other projects. Just lay your material out, put the angle on your selvage and cut!

very handy
I've used this to make bias binding, but I use it much more often for other tasks. It's handy for using a rotary cutter for cutting neck bands for t-shirts, rectangles and squares for pockets and bags, pattern alterations . . . I end up grabbing this for something virtually every time I sew.

Smart design
I like how this ruler can be used to create lines for bias cuts but can also be used as a simple ruler with the flat edge also. The add'l length is nice also. A very smart & practical multipurpose tool
