Okay fabric
It was thinner then I had hoped... I had to double it over to keep it from being too see through for what I originally got it for. It still made a great background for the project, so it deserved some stars. As always, Joann is the place to shop!

Short velvet, rough to feel on skin, but beautiful
I bought this fabric online to make a teddy bear, and its roughness, a result of how close it is to its base layer, contrasts what I was expecting. However, my comparison was unfair because it wasn't made for my purpose; the fabric is still soft in its own right. I enjoy it now that I've had it for a week, and I'm still using it for a teddy bear,

Perfect for my Santa Outfit for my doll!
This is the perfect fabric for making a Santa outfit. Although it is thin and a little stretchy, making it a little difficult to work with, it is good quality and is perfect for Santa.

Perfect for my project
I am making a large, purple drawstring bag with a gold cord. The bag will be to put our 2 year old grandson’s big John Deer tractor set. Very big box, the kind that is always difficult to wrap. My daughter-in-law has a Christmas tree decorated with gold and purple, so that is why I went with purple and gold bag. Santa will be able to use this bag for many years to come for those difficult things to wrap. I might even make a few smaller sizes.
