Very thin, light weight
I can never tell the weight of fabrics online. PLEASE LIST FABRIC WEIGHTS!
I ordered this to make a sheath dress and/or mini skirt with vest for my daughter. I was going to line it in a cute eeyore cotton fabric: odd, but I knew neither fabric stretched so thought it would work. The eeyore cotton is very heavy & dense , the microsuede very light. So that won’t work. Since we have heat all the time, the lightweight microsuede shouid be good actually. But the cute cotton is too heavy for even a shirt to go with. We definitely need more info. Thread counts, weights, etc. I’m disabled and can’t negotiate a store.
So while I’m not entirely surprised by the fabric, it is MICROsuede, I’m giving this a two star rating for poor online fabric information & description!
Haven’t washed or sewn it yet so here’s hoping there will be no more surprises like the color transfer/bleeding reported in other reviews. I think maybe they didn’t prewash which I I do with all fabrics. Very important step.

Color Bled
I agree with prior review about the red microsuede. For Christmas I promised 4 grandkids elf costumes. As I worked more with fabric the sewing machine feed became red as well as ironing cover when I ironed it. Unfortunately, it was too close to Christmas to start over so the kids got to wear the outfits to surprise their parents but I then had to retrieve them before they sat anywhere. Have not come up with a solution yet.

Shoddy quality—NOT microsuede
I work with microsuede all the time. This feels like a very cheap backing fabric sprinkled with the lint from actual microsuede fabric. It’s almost impossible to tell the microsuede side from the backing. Do not buy this—you will be disappointed.

Nothing like real suede - dull fabric - cheap look
If I had seen it in person, I'd never have ordered. This is nothing like real suede or leather -- not in the remotest sense. It is a very dulled surface of a cheap poly-feeling fabric. The dull surface has some irregularities. It looks cheap. I have real suede - this is nothing like it. It screams cheap. Purchased to make gloves, mittens, and coat. Will not waste valuable sewing time on this. I do not understand the glowing reviews - this is ugly material. (Color I purchased is black just fyi)

Caution
I purchased the red microsuede for a halloween costume and I before I realized it the fabric left red stains on two of my Viking sewing machines!!! Plus, it bleeds off on my hands during sewing.
I wish I could return it but do not have time to remake the garment before Halloween. So I am stuck. I will now try to set the color so it does not rub off on clothes/chairs/etc. while wearing.

Not Good for Upholstery
I ordered this fabric thinking it would be the same one I saw in store. But it was not as thick as the one in store and I would not use it for what I ordered it for -- to cover a sofa and divan. The fabric is too thin to withstand wear and tear.
