Good for patches
Long ago I bought hiking socks made with 100% wool. After I wore holes in them, I put them away instead of tossing them, intending to repair them.
I knitted patches for those socks with this Kroy in Northern Lights color.
It feels sturdy and feels good underfoot. It knits well for me but also sucks moisture out of my fingers — I keep hand lotion close. I’ll not soon know if they itch—I used the whole skein on patches.
