Used For: Used with thin or lightweight fabrics to stiffen, reinforce and provide shape retention on garments, costumes, accessories and crafts.
Special Benefits: Two main types of interfacing include fusible (which is applied with heat) and sew-in. They can be knit or woven, and come in a variety of weights to reinforce different kinds of base fabric.

It's transparent enough that I can see a paper with pencil drawings underneath it so it can be used for tracing out patterns. It's also pretty durable, not thin and flimsy like tissue paper. At first it felt like it to the touch, but I discovered one side is a little more sleek feeling and feels more like tracing paper. Both sides hold pencil, pen, and marker without bleeding or smearing from my tests (which is really nice). Pencil erases fine without ripping or tearing for both sides too. It's nice and wide too which is good for pattern making. It's actually 31 1/8 inches wide when I measured it, which is a bonus.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nice and Wide but Poor Transparency I love the width and price of the paper, but unfortunately its very hazy and difficult to see through for tracing. I would not buy it again - would rather tape together pieces by another brand when making something I need the wide width for and spend much less time trying to see and double checking all the marks are there (by lifting and checking below).
