These holes could not have been overlooked and rather a sloppy lack of care for customer service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty I bought this pleather to accent a cinch sack I made. It is easy to cut and to sew, when sewing on the wrong side. Otherwise, if top stitching, I would suggest a teflon sewing foot and plate.
