Seems nice but received one that doesn't work
It seems like a great machine, but it arrived in un-working condition. I hope to eventually be able to use it. Since JoAnn only accepts returns of electronics with an unopened box, it's going to a Singer service center.
It seems that machines purchased directly from Singer can be returned if defective.

Great Machine!
Bought this machine to replace my circa 1980's Kenmore. It works like a charm! I wanted a solid, simple, straight forward machine to get me back into sewing now that I have a grandbaby. He's going to look fabulous in his little Nacho Libre costume! This machine was very easy to set up and a breeze to use. I am an experienced seamstress and am very happy with my new Singer sewing machine.

Great All Purpose Machine
This was purchased as an all purpose machine to replace a 50 year old machine that lost all it's attachments in a house move. It is easy to use and great for all your general sewing needs.

A reduced grade replacement
Just purchased & opened but haven't used. It's a replacement for my ORIGINAL SINGER 1960s GOLDEN TOUCH & SEW which was only missing the thread guide was defective. Sewing machine still works except the defective part is no longer made & not available thru any repair shop.
