A Dfferent Use for 1-inch Elastic
Sturdy, strong, and just the right size for using in waistbands. When I sew aprons, I put a 4- to 6-inch piece of this 1-inch elastic at the start of each tie to improve the fit and better protect my clothes from spills and splashes.

The absolute worst!
This elastic was such a disappointment. I've worked with a variety of brands of knit elastics before and typically do not have trouble with them rolling - this stuff likes to fold itself in half the minute you encase it in a waist band! And it's really loosely woven, I actually have had to cut it with my pinking shears to keep if from shedding fibers and unraveling. It is just so weird and bad. Don't be tempted by the deal like I was - it's a good thing Joann is dropping this product.

Great pj elastic!
This is good elastic for pjs or relaxed fit items. It is very stretchy, not firm. I take off a couple of inches when measuring to ensure a good fit- it needs to stretch when worn.

Wide, soft and comfortable elastic
This particular elastic is soft, wide and comfortable. It is good to use for lighter fabrics, but would not be as good for heavy fabric. It was perfect for my granddaughter's costume skirt.

Elastic strong enough to stand up to dogs of all breeds
I use the 1 inch elastic in my Whelping bedliners. They r tough and strong and need to be to hold up to the wear and tear from dogs of all breeds. Love the elastic.
