I made a sectional sofa!
I did make something fabulous with my materials from Joann’s, I made a sectional sofa! I used the 2” foam for the back and for the tops of the arms. For most of the sofa I repurposed a mattress cover over the foam but when I ran out I used the batting ordered from Joann. I also bought the fabric in store for this project. I love my comfy sofa!

Not as thick / dense as previous batches
I’ve purchased this in the past and while this batch was good, previous batches have been thicker / more dense.

Heavier/thicker than expected
This is a nice thick batting. Not really knowing what the difference is in ounces as far as the feel, I ordered a heavier one for what I needed. It was still a bit too heavy for wrapping a chair cushion, so next time I'll cut the cushion just a bit bigger to fit the batting because I like the look it gave. I would not use this for a quilt batting.

Excellent product
I make crate pads for dogs, and this batting is thick enough to make a comfortable bedding without having to double it. Easy to work with, easy wash and dry - very pleased with it.

Best batting from an old sewer who knows!
I make childrens nap mats and I use the ultra weight 10 oz batting as the filler in the mat. It gives the mat just enough cushion, yet its light enough to go in the washing machine and dryer. Holds up well and I have been using it for over 13 years and wouldnt use anything else.

Overpriced item and not really 10 oz
It’s advertised as 10 oz but it isn’t very dense so I ended up needing to use two layers to have an actual 10 oz thickness.
They didn’t have enough yardage in one same roll and I ended up getting half of the yardage of a cheap rough batting that didn’t even look like what I purchased online.

It works, but it's inconsistent.
This batting is really inconsistent. Parts are very dense and thick, while others are thin and sparse. I buy it because it's the highest loft available right now, but sometimes is just doesn't feel like 10 oz.

I bought a roll of this batting. It should last me awhile. I love the thick heavyweight batting.
