It was okay
It’s okay. The plastic is pretty fragile, my lid cracked in half not even a month after purchasing and I’m not rough with my sewing items. I still use it but worry about it breaking further over the slightest bump.

Great organizer of Embroidery Threads
These boxes hold a lot of thread! By turning some of the spools upside down, I can fit almost double the number of spools. Light weight and easy to stack, they fit nicely on shelves. It is very easy to find the color of thread you need.

Good box for embroidery mini-cones.
I have used these thread storage boxes for machine embroidery thread and like them very much. They keep thread clean and the regular size mini-cones fit well. The small embroidery thread spools won't fit. My only caveat is that they are sometimes finicky to latch. That said, they are better than anything else I have found.

Top Notch Plastic Thread Spool Organizer
Perfect fit for embroidery thread spools...BUT, made of a hard plastic that chips and cracks too easily. 8 of the 10 boxes I ordered arrived damaged with chips and cracks mostly on the lids. I will instead purchase a different brand made of softer, more pliable plastic that doesn't crack or break so easily.
