How To Get It
Quilter's 80/20™ is a super-soft, needlepunched quilt batting that is preferred by hand quilters because it is very easy to needle and shows stitching definition. Machine quilters love the 80% cotton and 20% polyester blend because machine needles glide through it with ease, and it’s light and airy creating a beautiful drape. The cotton helps create that favored flat traditional look making it the ideal batting for light-weight, year round quilts and throws. The added polyester helps to reduce shrinkage and wrinkles also making it great for clothing and wall hangings. Lightly misted with a polyester bonding with no scrim. Low loft around 1/8” with a quilting distance of 2" - 4", no need for pre-soaking. The 120" x 120" King Size is the ideal size for comforters, duvets and larger projects.

Good batting for quilting
I use this 80/20 batting for my charity quilts (quilts of valor and quilts for kids). It is thin and soft easy to machine quilt. It wears and washes well.

Disappointing product
I bought this since Warm and Natural isn't in stock any more. I was very disappointed. It didn't lay smoothly. When I gently tugged to smooth it out, it tore. As I rolled my quilt on the long arm, it bunched in awkward places. I will not purchase this product again.

I bought this batting when I first started making quilts and blankets because the reviews I read stood out much more than any other product I had looked at. I will continue to buy this brand because it's so easy to work with. My needle on my Brother sewing machine has absolutely no trouble going through it. It's definitely a great type of batting for those who make quilts for year round use and not for just when it's cold.
