Good, inexpensive tool for beginning ring-maker
I bought this to start making wire wrapped rings. I thought the notch in the back would be great to allow for cutting the wire while it was still wrapped around the mandrel, and it is; however, it does also create a flat part in the wire that isn't rounded and needs to be reshaped a little once you take the ring off. Overall this is a pretty mild inconvenience, and I've gotten good use out of this item despite that small issue.

Plastic tool works.
The ring sizer does not have a complete circumference. The back of the tool is hollowed out, which was surprising to me. Made from plastic, it’s a basic tool for the job and works.

Great for rings with a bead focal
I like this ring sizer because it’s got a small flat “side” so you can round a wire ring that you’ve put a bead on. This allows the bead “ side” to sit flat so it doesn’t throw the roundness circle out of wack. Thank you JoAnns for selling a great product!

Great repurposed tool!
This ring sizer was used to form ear candles. It had the perfect conical shape by which to form them and maintained resistance to the warm wax. The formed cones slid right off their mold. It was a GREAT solution! (And inexpensive!)
