Nice blue blender
Nice, finer, more substantial weave than some of the rolls. Worked well as a blender but I wish there was a little more variation between the shades.

So much fun!!
I wanted to make quilted Christmas gifts for all of my family and coworkers this year so I did. I’m a newbie quilter so I was nervous but excited. However, I took on the challenge and surprised myself! I made 28 Mug Rugs and one throw sized quilt with the jelly rolls and fabric that I purchased from Joann’s!!!

Making an ocean w/the shades of blue fabric roll
Love the variety of colors and the gradations of blue--it will be the ocean at the bottom of a baby sail boats quilt. Each of the fabrics has a nice, soft feel also.

Great quality, too similar colors
Quality of fabic was excellent. However, when I purchased the roll I thought there were 5 different colors, but in fact three were so close that it was hard to differentiate. So instead of using as I initially had planned, I used them elsewhere.

Color transfer an uneven cut
I'm so disappointed. The blue color transfers when ironed. I probably should have prewashed it? Didn't see instructions that it will transfer color. PLUS the pieces are uneven cut. I am very disappointed with this product that ruined my quilt.

Jelly rolls tend to be not always a "firm" fabric...so I spray starch before my project. In that case I do love working with them. Great to work in with other fabrics and collections.

Great for stash building
I grabbed a few of these in store originally to feed the stash. I finally found a pattern for them and I was a bit disappointed by how much of a curve there was to some of the strips. It wasn’t on all of them, but at least 5 or 6. They are really great to have around when you need to add color value to a project.
