Warped- doesn’t lay flat
It was delivered. They rolled it up for packaging. It doesn’t lay flat. I have booked and weights on it in hopes it will flatten out. I don’t recommend.

This is not self healing. Cut lines remain and fill with lint. Fabric doesn’t cut with one swipe with rotary cutter. And my blades dull very quickly when using this mat. Overall -a waste of money. 0 stars if I could rate it that way.

My mat was warped I have tried everything to get it to relax but nothing has worked Not suitable for cutting fabric I definitely wouldn’t recommend it

Not for cutting
I purchased this mat and have used it several times to cut fabric AND I have several scores in the mat. I was informed by an employee of Joanns that this particular mat is NOT for cutting but for measuring ONLY...I guess that is why I have so many score marks in it. I am trying to find a very large CUTTING mst.

Warped and won't relax
Bought this online. When unrolled it was warped but I figured it would let go. Nope. So I returned and got another one. Same problem. Cannot cut on this thing

I’ve used it for a while but…
I only just realized my measurements are not accurate! By the time I get to 36” it’s off by 1/4 inch. And 1/2 an inch off at 56”! I’ve checked with every tape measure and ruler I have and that’s many. Also I have rotary blade cuts but not through and through. It protects the top of my sewing table and it is very useful and I like that it’s white to match custom table but hate having to double check everything! No wonder some projects were slightly off no matter what I did. Still, it’s a good general plastic surface with an “ok” measurement table. I now put my smaller Olfa mats together on top of this when cutting. My blades cut waAay better on olfa mats than this mat.

A large let down.
I got this just a few weeks ago in store and was very excited to get to work. My first cut on the mat scored it. My rotary blade is seriously at least 10 years old, so this was unexpected. Not two weeks later and there are a couple actual cuts in the mat. I'm disappointed, I will need to replace this Not cheap item immediately.

Save your money and buy something else
I absolutely do not recommend this mat for any kind of rotary cutting. I used my basic Fiskars 45 mm rotary cutter and the mat cut right along with my fabric as if I used no mat at all. I am beyond disappointed. Is this even a cutting mat? No way should it have let the blade go through it like this.

This matte states that it's good for all rotary cutters and all types of cutting. It's terrible for using a rotary cutter for fabric. It grooves the plastic and the rotary cutter just does not cut well against the surface so you need to apply a lot of pressure. It will be returned. Love the size! l, just not the quality of the surface!

cutting board that can't handle a simple rotary
I bought this to primarily cut tulle fabric...I use just a standard Fiskars rotary cutter, also purchased from Joann Fabrics. The mat is cutting like it is part of the fabric. I have SEVERAL cut marks straight through the mat, which makes NO sense. This is a cutting mat? But my rotary cutter cuts through with ease? I tried to take an image where you can see what I mean. Wow, right?

Great cutting mat.
I love this mat. I use long cuts of fabric for skirts and dresses, and I can generally get an entire pattern piece on this without having to shift the fabric as I'm cutting.

I am so glad I purchased this cutting board, I use it as a workspace/table, for cutting, etc. The actual dimensions listed are the dimensions of the board itself, the actual measurements printed on the board are an inch or two less. Used a coupon/sale and got this at an amazing price. I was using an older cardboard cutting mat before and this blows it out of the water. Somewhat difficult to store as it is quite large but can be rolled

Cutting board.
This is the best purchase I have made for making quilts. I can cut diagonals, squares and everything else. I am a professional seamstress and having this on my cutting table is the best. The price was extremely reasonable. With coupons it was a bargain. Everyone who sews should have one.
