This elastic is a great product and has many uses.
Delighted to find this 5/8" Fold-Over Elastic as I had never seen it at JoAnn's before and wondered if it was new to the store. I had several times bought this width and type of elastic at a stand alone fabric store where it was available and sold by the yard from a big spool (instead of in a package of just 1 yard) and was available in red, royal blue, beige and black. I use this elastic to make woven fabric headbands and taught granddaughters to make them too, but have to get the elastic at the other store. This elastic is also great for making doll clothes. A great product and will buy again when I can't go to the other store.

Fold Over Elastic
I needed to shorten a shirt for my man. It had this type of elastic on the bottom edge. It was easier to replace the elastic than to try to rip the existing elastic and reuse.
