It is odorless, colorless and does not gum sewing needles. You can use this for machine appliqueing, quilting, basting and holding fabric to stabilizers in machine embroidery and hemming.

I'm a quilter and for basting it is super fast ,so that I can get to my quilting without spending a couple of hours pinning the quilt together. Try it I'm sure you will love it also. There is no sticky residue on your needle when you quilt. LOVE IT!!!

I hand quilt and 505 keeps the layers together throughout the long process. I even use it for machine quilting and it does not gum up my machine. Love this product.
