What I needed
Worked as expected. I had a kit I received that was missing a hoop. The Joann employee showed me where they were and the size I wanted was out of stock, she checked the back for me and found some.

These are reliable for the price! I do embroidery in a plastic hoop that holds tighter and then transfer to this one to frame it and it works well. It's possible to embroider in the wooden one, you just have to tug the fabric tighter as you go.
