Good quality shears
Good sturdy shears. I bought these to trim fabric rather than zig zag edges when making face masks. They have worked well, bonus that I got them on sale.

Problem cutting
On the positive side, the pinking shears do an excellent job on fabric. On the negative side, they are so tight I have to cut, then open them with both hands, cut, open, cut, open--every time.

total upset not cheap from
Problem with blades not aline.
They are made to cut light weight fabrics only. Then went to get them sharpened, could get them alone so the guy said fiskars pinking shears have problems....

Pinking Shears.....Perfect!
Bought these pinking shears online and picked them up the next day in store for a rush project. Saleswoman picked out a beautiful blue pair and they are very high quality. Made a beautiful baby quilt in a jif!

very tough to use
These shears are horrible. They are difficult to open and cutting straight lines is very difficult because of all the effort required for each snip.

Very Surprised
I've been using Friskar's pinking shears for many years, and always been happy with them...until now. These are very stiff and difficult to use and I found it difficult to cut a straight line as I had to stop, open them, reposition, and then cut...over and over. Cannot recommend.

difficult to use
I have been using these for a few months now and every time they make my hand/wrist sore (and I am not old enough for arthritis!). I knew going into buying these that this was a risk (what happened to all the reviews that said so?), but when the scissors were half price, I decided it was worth a shot. I don't need them often, which is a good thing. Cutting is a huge effort with these. The blades come together nicely, but it takes a lot of effort to open them again, almost as if the two pieces are bolted together too tightly or the blades are mis-aligned somehow. Fine for occasional use, but if you do a lot of pinking, look elsewhere.
