For Best results, use AdTech full size .44" diameter Hi-Temp or Multi-Temp glue sticks. I regret this purchase
I bought this as an upgrade to my ancient hot glue gun that takes 20 minutes to heat up. I didn't want the cheapest or most expensive one, so this one seemed like a good bet. The only "pro" for this glue gun is that is does heat up very quickly. The "con" is a big one: the glue stick won't advance properly. Most of the time I have to manually push the glue stick to get the glue to come out. it takes two hands to operate this glue gun leaving no hands left to hold my work. If I had 3 hands it would be fine. But I don't so this gun is garbage.
