Needs lots of adult assistance!
There is no way a six-year-old could do this on their own. Definitely takes an adult to assist in the entire project. But once it’s complete, it’s an adorable little unicorn.

Perfect for a beginner!
Perfect for a beginner! My niece wants to learn to sew and this was perfect for the number of steps and difficulty of skill. (She’s 8). With adult help, she completed her key chain in a couple hours.

Not as simple as it appears
I bought 2 of these to make with my granddaughters. There were a few issues. For one of them the print and the cut outs did not match so the rainbow had white on it and the hoofs and the nose were not the solid colors they were supposed to be. My granddaughter did not want pink on the hoof so we cut it off the pink. The directions did not tell you how to add the rainbow at the bottom. The thread holes were missing on some of the unicorns making it challenging as we had to create some holes. All in all it took 2 hours to make both of them dealing with "hole" issues , much longer than I counted on.
