Design your own ballet shoes with the Dritz Ballet Braided Elastic - Beige. This pack contains one yard of 0.5-inch lightweight ballet elastic that can be used to make ballet shoes and slippers. It is made from 67% polyester and 33% rubber, is easy-to-care-for elastic, durable and narrows when stretched. You can hand sew it onto the insides of your footwear along the factory seam to achieve the desired fit.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Standard I used this to make nude straps on a sleeveless costume. It worked well. Had a good amount of stiffness and stretch to make it functional and comfortable. I would say it would work well on ballet shoes too.
