Beadalon wires are softer, more supple and stronger than any other bead stringing wires on the market. They combine the soft, silky feel of thread with the strength and abrasion resistance of stainless steel. Multiple strands of incredibly strong fine stainless steel cable is nylon coated specially for bead stringing. The higher number of strands in the wire, the more flexible and kink resistant. For Austrian crystals, seed beads and fresh water pearls use 0.012" and use 0.015"-0.018" for medium to heavy glass, metal, ceramic and fiber-optic beads.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it Would use this every day, though 19-strand is a good runner-up. 49-strand is the most most flexible and has very nice drape. Especially nice for illusion necklaces. Be sure to check diameter for recommended bead types and weight as well as crimp sizes. Does not tend to kink when transporting/storing multiple necklaces as many lower strand wires do.
