Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as Described Be very Careful! I ordered this yarn which says on the description that it is 100% Acrylic. When it arrived, it is Acrylic and Nylon, now, which makes the yarn thicker! I am in the middle of a project, trying to find more 100% acrylic fingering weight yarn in the Bernat brand. Joanns, you should fix your website with the correction content description of the yarn.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed I am very dissappointed in this yarn. I just bought some this week and today I started knitting a baby sweater, bonnet and bootie set but the yarn is not a fingering weight yarn, it is more like a sports weight and after buying 3 balls of it, there won't be enough to finish my set. The set normally takes 3 balls of another brand of fingering but since this is heavier, it just won't do. I am very dissappointed and I also bought 2 different colors in it to make two sets but this just won't do. Won't buy it again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from white is kind of gray I bought this yarn online here, because it no longer is in the stores. It was out a couple of years ago, but I guess not very many people know what to do with fingering weight yarn. Plus there are very few new patterns out there. Have to look online. The only problem I have is with the white. It as a gray cast to it. I'm disappointed with the color. It isn't stretchy like another fingering weight yarn i used. It's okay, but not my favorite.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I bought this yarn for a baby sweater. The yarn is soft and is a true fingering weight BUT it splits frequently and the twist is very loose. I found this yarn to be very annoying and required a lot of patience to knit with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bernat Fingering Yarn I am a stay at home grandmother, and I crochet to make a little pocket money,I use the fingering yarn to make doll clothes as it is soft and airy. My only problem is finding it in the stores. For awhile it was always available, now it is hard to find, Please put it back in the stores. I sometimes have to drive 2 hours to locate what I am looking for. Thank you, Paula

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Blanket Yarn I use this to make blankets for everyone. Adults love it because they love to sleep on something really soft. I do have a suggestion. This yarn needs to be unwrapped from the outside. If you pull the string from the middle then it can knot. This yarn is soooooooo WORTH every penny!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from nice yarn but has one problem: it wants to untwist and split. Nice hand, makes nice washable knitted lace (using US6/US7 needles). Also, I pull from the outside of the skein, because that's the only end available.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Knots and splits The yarn is soft enough but that cannot compensate the frustration of knots and splitting. I bought 20 skeins and so far I've used 9 skeins and I'd say 3 of them had many knots and tangled up if I pull the end from inside. The splitting makes the work slow because I have to go back to the previous rows to undo the splitting or I have to keep an eye of every stitch as I go along. I am very disappointed at this yarn, I'ved tried many other brands and I think this baby yarn is not as good as it claims.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No selection It's so frustrating when one goes to the store to buy yarn to make a gift for one's unborn granddaughter to find that the store doesn't sell the color you need. What's even worse is when one goes to this website to order the color and the WEBSITE no longer carries the color!!! Only two colors offered in this yarn??? I know for a fact that Bernat makes many different colors in this particular yarn. I'm increasingly disappointed with Jo-Ann's.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fingering weight yarn for baby We just had our first great grandaughter and I was begining to think that I would never find fingering weight yarn as I have not been able to find so many things that we used, but this is great. Have made baby garments and baby afghans with it. I see you are only carrying blue and pink now. How sad for the rest of us.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Baby Afghans I have been using Bernat baby yarn for several years. I have made numerous afghans for gifts plus for sale at craft shows. I have had nothing but compliments on the outcome! Thank you Bernat!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it, love it, love it! I cant believe I finally found a true baby yarn. This yarn works up so nicely for baby garments that is the only one I want to use. It's great for lightweight baby blankets too.I just wish there were more colors to choose from other than pastels.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soft and lovely This yarn works up with a beautiful feel and is easy to work with. I make baby items for charity.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have never used the fingering yarn before, but love it. It was different to work with when I first started using it, as it seemed so fragile. I have made several baby afgans using all the colors available. Just wish they had it in apricot--as my pattern calls for it. Had to substitute antique white for it along with the blue, yellow, lavender, pink and green. They look so lacy and pretty when they are done.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exciting Find I have been using fingering yarn for years making a Christening set and did not realize fingering yarn was no longer available. I am so excited to find this yarn as I am expecting #15 grandchild soon and can make another set. It is so soft and easily cared for. I love the Bernat baby yarn for making all childrens and baby things. So glad they have decided to make a fingering yarn.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A real "find!" I have a new granddaughter and am thrilled to have found baby fingering yarn! I didn't realize it had disappeared from the stores, but it has! But I'm also looking for more color choices...esp. lavender.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally found! Like the other reviewer, I was sooo excited to finally find true baby/fingering yarn. I haven't crocheted in years, and it seemed baby yarn didn't exist any more. Was so glad you carry it. Have more projects in the works!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from need other colors This is the greatest yarn for delicate work, I have used it for a lot of projects but now I need to find white and baby blue. Any suggestions????

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The only place to find it! I have had the hardest time finding TRUE baby fingering weight yarn and this is the only place I can find it. Not even in the stores, but only online. If your pattern calls for baby fingering weight, this is the yarn to use!
