Plush yarn that doesn’t unravel when cut
I am having excellent time creating with this yarn. A few out of more than 14 skeins had a couple of bad knots used. But they were easily cut and became seamless in my WIP.

New to Bernat blanket yarn
This is my first time using Bernat Blanket yarn, Making amigurimi is so rewarding with this yarn. I have made so many things out of a couple skeins. Everything I make with it is so soft. It is also easy on the wrists if you have carpal tunnel.

Vintage White was dirty
I ordered a few different colors, including vintage white. I just went to work with it and it’s a mess for some reason. While some of it is plush and soft and true to color, every few rows I do I run into rough and discolored areas. It’s strange. I used the center pull and that was the worst as far as it being a matted feeling and discolored with a greyish tone. Then I tried to go from the outside, it was a bit better but still discolored. This is definitely one I would recommend going in store for and not ordering online.

Not consistent quality
This yarn is very soft and I love the texture but I expect better quality control for the price per skein. I purchased 6 of Vintage White and 3 of Cloudy Sky. I had no issues with the white but the Cloudy Sky was not the best quality. Only 1 skein had the soft texture. Sadly my store didn't have any more in stock so I had to continue with what I had.

Terrible amount of joins!
I bought several skeins to make a blanket for my mom for Christmas. There were a series of joins in the yarns that occurred with no mind paid to the pattern of the yarn. Not only that, but the yarn felt like it had been treated with something that left a residue on it. I was unhappy and gifted it anyway. My mom later told me that it just felt awful to use and she wasn’t going to keep it out.

Bought 6 yarns, 2 of them were full of knots, and very thin. Others were great quality, thick, and plush. I do not recommend unless you want to play Russian roulette with your money.

Disappointed
I made a big yarn order online, which has taken 3 weeks and I still have not recieved my whole order yet. 3 of the yarns got cancelled on my order and I really dont understand why because if the item is out of stock, it wont allow you to purchase it, so they should have been able to send them. I will not be shopping at Joanns online anymore. very unreliable way to shop, and you probably wont get your entire order! waste of time waiting around for yarn that they ended up cancelling and I could of purchased somewhere else.

My go-to yarn for plushies
This yarn is great for amigurumi. I use a 6.5mm hook to keep tight stitches - glides well on my hook. Does not produce fuzzies or come apart like other brands.

Color is WAY off from photos
The quality appears to be everything I know and love from Bernat Blanket yarn (same thickness, super soft, same strength etc) however the color is completely different from the photos.
The photos show a deep red, almost like a purple-hued burgundy. What I got (with multiple dye lots across TEN skeins) is a very bright Christmas/Fourth of July red. No where near what I expected.
I can still make my project work, but this color was a real disappointment.
