How To Get It
Perfect for school projects, aprons, posters, smocks, or wall-hangings, the Busy Kids Learning Blackboard Fabric is used like a chalkboard. To prepare the fabric the surface must be ‘primed’ before use. To prime the fabric rub the side of a piece of common chalk over the entire surface from top to bottom and side to side. Using a soft cloth wipe off the chalk and repeat. To erase chalk, wipe the fabric with a soft cloth. To renew the chalkboard fabric after use wipe with a damp sponge and follow the instructions to ‘prime’ the surface again.

Great learning tool
I made roll-up chalk mats with this and love it. It's easy to sew and lasts forever. Just wash it off and it's good as new.

Child's Chalk Mat
I sew for an organization where all of our profits go to support a local organization for homeless children and I bough this chalk mat to make children's chalk mats to be used at home, in the car, portable to take with you to a doctor's appointment and any other needs. I made 2 sizes... 9 x 12 and 12 x 15 and trimmed them with donated fabric and put pockets in the corner to hold chalk and a wipe cloth.

Easy , inexpensive craft gift for Christmas!
I just bought this last week and have already made two kitchen wall hangings. I used two fat quarters and made small quilted blocks of sunflowers around all the sides and a brown batik for the pockets. A couple of tabs for hanging and a piece of chalk in the pocket and it's PERFECT. Now to dive into my holiday fabric for a few more gifts :)
