Doesn't slide. Immediately broke.
The plastic is so stuck together, the stupid thing broke. Even trying to expand it after it broke, the slide doesn't even remotely budge. Piece of crap.

Cheap but Effective
Yes, it's made with cheap plastic but it does get the job done. After a short breaking in period the slide became smooth and I have no problem using this handy little tool.

I purchased this to use while I looked for digital caliper I liked. This plastic caliper is terrible. The plastic pieces stick to each other so instead of sliding smoothly, it jumps around. It's impossible to get an accurate reading with this thing.
