A durable quality zipper.
I ordered this 30 inch metal zipper from JoAnn’s to finish a cushion cover project before my daughter left for a summer job. The delivery was quick and the quality was excellent so it should stand up to some tough use.

Broke on the first zip
I thought this would be more durable since it was made of brass. I spent 2 hours sewing a cushion cover only to have the zipper break on the first zip. It had one job. Totally not worth the money.

Terrible quality - broke after 10 zips
When I was seeing this zipper in, I noticed how much drag and difficulty there was, but I ignored it thinking since it was for a cushion it was no big deal. The zipper pull is tiny and hard to grab, so I attached a paper clip to it to get a better grip. After jamming for no apparent reason, the paperclip broke through the zipper pull! A paper clip! The zipper pull must be made of some kind of super soft metal. Afterwards, while still attempting to close, the zipper separated and teeth broke. I hadn't even finished the project, and the zipper was already broken!! DO NOT BUY this worthless zipper!
