Just ok
Just raw burlap. So be ready to put some work into making it pretty. Also it sheds.
they don’t give you the complete yardage you want in one consecutive roll like the website says.

Burlap Volcano
Burlap was as expected. I made an 8 foot tall volcano. I used regular stitching then topped with thinned glue for areas under strain. My first time using burlap for something like this. I found it a bit messy to handle but a good value for the amount I needed.

Wash and processing error on ordered.
Washing burlap fabric was a mess , I didn't even think about the cleanup. Both washer and dryer needed to be cleaned out by hand due to all the fibers left behind behind and still ran through a another cycle. The project great turned out otherwise.
Joann fabric processed my ordered twice and would not allow return or refund. Charged me twice so I ended up paying double for
Mu project. . No returns allowed even if it’s their error. Will not order online again.

I bought it for my granddaughters wedding for her Isle Runner...perfect width....and durable, love it....just gonna add lace to each side....awesome price per yard!

Not happy with purchase
Not so great. Ordered 4 yards, thru online pick up, so I could have a very long piece of burlap. After picking it up at store (Which they bring to your car in a bag) I discovered that it is two pieces of fabric. Not much use to me. Of course nobody said anything about it not being a continuous 4 yard! Very deceptive.

Excellent burlap for minimalist designers!
This natural-color burlap has wonderful weight and drape without being excessively heavy. The material was weaved well because the fabric had no flaws such as snags. For curtains, I like that it is sheer enough to see through but offers privacy from the outside during the daytime. The care instructions state it is NOT machine washable so the fabric gets one star off. To clean it before using it in my sewing, I hosed it down with water and line dried it. That worked fine but there was some minor shrinkage, which is to be expected. Overall, I like this burlap and highly recommend it!

Poor quality and very difficult to craft with.
I was excited to receive this product. I opened the package and found burlap that was very thin and thread bare. It contained thin patchy portions. I had to use this product to cover a pet enclosure . poor quality fabric. I frayed and shed very difficult to use.

Burlap a bit too thin....
This burlap was very thin....quite see-through, which was NOT what I was going for. I had to double the fabric to get close to the the degree of privacy when used as a curtain. And even doubling the fabric, it was not thick enough to do the job. I wanted to block our neighbors from seeing into our kitchen at night. Fabric was too thin for that. Sigh....

Online photo/Color is misleading
The color was much more green than the photo made it look. Based on the photo I figured it would be a grey-grey color, but not was definitely light sage-ish green. I guess that’s what happens when you buy fabric online.

Not what I wanted, weave is too loose and frays all over the place, which is typical of burlap but this is a little on the extreme side The color is more of a gray black than the brown black or dark black I was hoping for.

Good product, horrible processing to receive it .
Material is fine. The process I went thru to get it was ridiculous. I wanted to pay for shipping and it was sent to Holbrook store for pick up. I wanted 4 yards and order was changed to 8 yards which will last many years. The store door was locked with no clear instructions on how to get my order. Finally a very nasty women came & verbally abusive. Went inside and grudgingly found and gave me my order. I said "thank you" she never answered me just a dirty look and talked with another person waiting. The worst experience I ever had spending money!! Never again!!

Color not as represented
I ordred this product based on the online photo. I realize that colors chosen online cannot be accuratey represented. However, the color that arrived looked nothing like the photo. The "Idaho Potato" arrived as more a greenish-buff color. It was far too yellow to use for my project

Your online ordering with store pickup!
Nothing but you all have the worst online system, you overcharged me twice and when I went in to pick up my merchandise, instore mngr thought she knew what she saying all wrong. I had to personally take care of the corrections. No apologies or compensation.

Worked for scarecrows
Purchased to make scarecrows. Fabric sewed easily and held up well to being stuffed with straw. Edges cut across the weave bias did fray as expected so included extra for edges.

Not the Color I Expected
I recently bought a ton of the "Natural" colored burlap for a ceiling project but was disappointed to discover that the color it shows on the website is nowhere near the actual color of the burlap. I was expecting it to be more of a creamy, off-white, perhaps close to tan color, but it is straight up brown. Don't get me wrong, I like brown burlap, but not for this particular project and not when I'm expecting something else. I am a bit disappointed.

Large quantity of burlap.
We ordered 180 yards and expected 9 twenty yard bolts. Instead we received 7 twenty yard bolts and several partials, including something I could only call a remnant. Other than that I'm very pleased with the material. There should be some way to specify if only full bolts are acceptable.

Great material for the price
Great fabric for the price. Used it to make my sons Halloween costume. Thwy were Oogie boogie from night before Christmas. The fabric didnt fray much which is a plus. It was cut perfectly didnt get shortes at all.
