Great value for functional need

Nice burlap
I bought this burlap fabric for machine embroidery and it worked very well. None of the reviews I read mentioned embroidering on it so I took a leap of faith and got it anyway but it worked out well. Just use a ball point needle and stabilize it well, both top and bottom. Also baste around all four sides before it goes into the machine.

Burlap nightmare
This is much rougher burlap than I thought it would be. It decentigrates horribly when cut and the weave is very open. I really don’t know what this fabric could be used for it is such poor quality.

Fades!
I agree with others on the colors not being as shown. My problem was how drastically it faded. The black burlap faded to an olive green, the sage (Olive green) color faded to a yellow. I was surprised how quickly it faded. lf using in sun, I suggest using a UVA protection spray next time.

Pictures are poor
The pictures for most of these burlap fabrics are terrible! The black, brown and Idaho Potato are the only ones remotely close! The Sage is a dark olive green, oyster is ivory and the natural is a lighter shade of a traditional brown burlap. I thought when ordering online I was getting a white or soft grey and that wasn't anything close! I did return the fabric without a problem, but it was very disappointing!

First Burrlap experience
Needed to make table runners. The color was good, (Idaho potato). Because I ordered online I needed to order in 4 yd lengths. Lucky to have extra because first 12" was very wavy due to the loose weave of burlap. Burlap is not a smooth even material so I recommend looking over the piece you buy to make sure it will work. Project turned out great with this fabric.

Not what I thought
The color was more yellow/gold than a traditional burlap color and there were a lot of big snags in the material. I used them to make window cornices so luckily from far away you cannot see all the major flaws. Overall look, looks great with the rustic themed room.

The color Burlap that was shown online was a tan natural burlap color. When I picked it up and got it home, it is more of a mustard color. Not really happy with it but didn't get around to returning it so it is my own fault for keeping it.

The product it’s self is exactly as stated I just didn’t realize how hard it was to work with. It just keeps fraying on ends that are cut so must be knowladgable of this. Only reason why I didn’t give 5 starts and was frustrated. Otherwise product was nice. More off white then white. (Egg shell white)
