How To Get It
NuFoam is a safe alternative to conventional foam that is made from densified polyester batting.Fairfield's NuFoam won’t yellow or disintegrate. It’s perfect for chair cushions, deck furniture, camping, futons, play mats, recreational vehicle accessories, and more. Made from compressed layers of 100% polyester that range from 1″ to 4″ thick. NuFoam works best for occasional seating as it will compress over time. We recommend using NuFoam that is 1″ thicker than your intended cushion to allow for compression. It will be a snug fit inside the cover. Non-allergenic & Unconditionally guaranteed.

Great foam!
In our beach rental the cushions started to sag and were very uncomfortable. I added one 22" x 22" Nufoam piece and the firmness and comfort level became superior.

Junk product
This product is a piece of junk... It collapsed after about 24 hours and never regained its previous shape...It was a waste of money!!! I regret buying it

Great fit for dining room chairs.
Perfect for our dining room chairs, and easy to work with! I’d recommend cutting in layers, and it’s thick enough to not cut easily with typical sheers in one go. If you slip the scissors into the layers though, it’s easy!

Perfect for outdoor use
The NuFoam cushion is not as dense as foam rubber, so expect a different feel for its thickness. It makes comfortable padding for the patio chairs I made the cushions for, and it won't be damaged by rain or sun exposure, unlike foam rubber. I like that it's made of 100% recycled fiber. I recommend feeling one (and comparing it to foam rubber, if that is a usable alternative for your project) before you choose a thickness.

Not like regular foam
This product isn't like any foam that I've ever used. It's more of a fiber product. To cut it to shape, you must use scissors instead of a knife or blade. Cutting with scissors isn't easy since it is so thick. I made it work for my project but ended up separating the top from the bottom since it was too thick. That was my fault though. I probably wouldn't purchase this again as I like the ease of using foam.

Great cushions!
Great cushions for the iron seat I used them for. Even though they are only 2 inches thick, you can't feel the iron below the cushion
