Great Cake Carrier
The cake holders arrived promptly and in perfect condition. They were exactly what I was looking for. I used it to send a delicate, homemade sponge cake to my sister for Passover and the cake arrived in one piece and in excellent condition. It's an excellent cake carrier and I recommend both the product and the seller.

Exactly what I was looking for
It's perfect! It's plenty wide enough so that even a large cake will fit without touching the sides and you can flip the bottom over and use it for cupcakes and they won't slide around.

Picture is not the Wilton Cake Caddy Joann sells
I ordered this item online last night and picked it up from Joann's this afternoon. I was disapointed to see that the item was not the same as shown in the web listing. The listing photos clearly shows the caddy as having three latches and not the two as sold. Other big box stores sell this same caddy for less. The reason I went with Joanns is I thought I was buying the item pictured on their site, which would have been a better or upgraded product. I feel ripped off, to Joanns, please upgrade your photo to reflect the product being sold. Not sure if I'll return, feel burned

Needs improvement
This product lasted me about a year with ab average use of once per month, and then one of the purple clips cracked. I thought Wilton might be able to sell me a new clip (because it appears to be easily removed so a new piece could lock in) but upon contacting them, they said this product has been discontinued. Clearly it is not! Anyway, it was fine while it lasted but I think they could make it sturdier or have replacement parts available. I also agree with the other reviewer about how it should hold taller cakes and not have angled sides.

I bought this caddy a couple of years ago and I'm buying another because I love it so much. It's lid is high enough for 3-tier cake with decorations, and there's plenty of room around the cake, so there's no risk of messing up the icing. The lid fits firmly onto the base and snaps in so there's no worries about it coming undone, it still fits into the refrigerator easily, and it's super easy to clean.

Not tall enough
I bought this item and although I love the side locks and durability of the carrier itself, it will NOT hold an 8 inch cake with 3 frosted layers with decorations on the top. It needs to be about 2-3 inches taller and have straight sides!
