Bad quality control
This yarn seems nice, but whenever I get it, there are always several breaks in the yarn. I end up with 1 skein with 2 or more different shades of the color. It would be nice if it was consistent, but I can’t keep wasting money hoping for a skein that isn’t completely useless. Save your money and buy a better brand.

Nice yarn!
I designed and crocheted this cute kimono cardigan sweater to wear on chilly days, using two Jumbo skeins of Caron Dalmatian. This yarn is fluffier and thicker than Red Heart Super Saver and has a wonderful drape, which is perfect for my crocheted/knitted outwear designs. LOVE!

Love this yarn. Fell in love with Rosewood.
I crochet baby afghans for charity, so I generally buy lots of white, pastels and baby variegated. I happened to see Caron's Rosewood and bought a skein.I fell in love! Had to order more. Photo (doesn't do yarn justice) is Rosewood with White and Taupe and some coordinating greens. I wanted a girl's blanket that looked like a walk through a rose garden. 🌹 This will make a lovely shawl, too.

I love Caron's Baby Rainbow color mix
The soft pastel colors of Caron Jumbo's "Baby Rainbow" colorway are so lovely. It's been so long since I last found it in stock that I forgot Caron included mint green in their mix. The other brand I'd been using as a substitute only has pink, blue, yellow and white, with emphasis on the pink and blue.
Also, I don't know if I just lucked out with this skein that I bought. But it produced a cool yet unexpected striping pattern in the body of this hat that I knitted. I thought the stripes would be more like it is in the rib kit band. Happy coincidence?!

New rosewood lots more coarse and dark
I loved the initial Rosewood skeins but when I ran out I purchased a new skein for the last 1/5 of crocheted afghan. I could feel the coarse difference in my hands immediately but it wasn’t until I finished (10 inch length) did I realize how off the color was! The initial skeins were softer and had a bit of a shine to them (no sparkle) but this new lot it’s darker. I ripped it off and would rather gift an off size rather than such a difference in feel and color. I’m so bummed!

Different shades of yarn
Bought this yarn and made Afghan. Dye lots all same how ever yarn stArted off beautiful in color used the country basket color in Caron jumbo size. The yarn turned to a different shade after first 4 skeins and yarn isn’t as soft as was in beginning. Disappointed.

Beautiful yarn, but different colors Same DYE LOT
I love this yarn and have bought it many times for different projects.
This time however I got two different colors and consistency in the same Dye Lot.
I will make it work but I was a little disappointed with it.
I still love this yarn, my advice is don’t just grab few skeins and leave. Take your time to check the dye lot and compare the colors at the store or write a note online purchases asking them to make sure they are the same colors (shades).

Blanket looks nice when finished.
I bought 4 skeins of the color Gravel. Happy with the finished blanket, but there were so many places in the yarn that were tied together. At one point I only finished one row and part of the next and again they yarn was tied to join two pieces. Only negtative for this yarn.

Skeins don't pull well especially toward the end
Skeins do not pull well - knot up and have to spend lot's of time unravelling. This occurred with all the skeins purchased. Made in India - my experiences with any materials made in India are of inferior quality. Towels, sewing material, clothing, etc. Sorry I purchased what I thought would be a great product. Wish Joann would give more manufacturing details on website. I could not return as it was needed to complete a Christmas project. Only hope it wears well with use. Sometimes you get what you pay for.

Great yarn....however ....
...I bought 3 skeins online/pickup at store. Two had the same dye lot number, one was different . I had to put the project on hold till I could acquire the right lot number (still on my quest). Quite disappointed that all three aren't the same lot number but that isn't Caron's fault.

Yarn Color
The colors were not quite as they appeared in the picture. If I could have been in the store to shop, this would not have been my choice. It is not very soft either. Some Caron one pounds are soft but most are not. It works well with my project but not as I had hoped.
