Good yarn but different dye lots
The yarn is wonderful but I was disappointed that I got two skeins with one shipment and two with the other shipment so they are not the same dye lot. I am working on my shawl and alternating the skeins so hopefully there won't be a definite difference that shows.

mixed dye lots
I ordered 9 skeins of this yarn online and when they arrived 6 were from one dye lot and 3 from another. Not sure how that will work up into the sweater I am making, but I would NEVER intentionally purchase yarns of 2 different dye lots.

Beautiful yarn!
This yarn made a beautiful baby blanket for my grandson. The yarn is soft, easy to work with and has a country kind of look to it when crocheted. I used the gray as the main color and used the brown and cream as accent colors. I’ve had many, many compliments on it!

I really like this yarn although it does tend to split on you. I've had skeins where the yarn is tied midway through, which doesn't make for a pretty blanket.

2 of the 3 skeins were perfect and worked up nicely. 1 skein was unusable as the yarn was pieced together and knotted at relatively close intervals. Unacceptable

Lovely yarn for a sweater
I was really happy with how this yarn looked. I made a sweater with this and the other two colors of Caron Simply Soft Tweeds and it looks great. The tweed flecks show up nicely but don't seem at risk of shedding off. And the yarn is a lovely softness! Made a super warm sweater that I'm excited about.

Yarn dissatisfaction.
I have written a letter to you telling of my unhappiness with this Caron yarn. I am making an Afghan, but it is a challenge because of all of the flecks of color I have to remove because they are loose, not attached to the yarn. I can only wonder how many of them will be left after the first wash
