Caron Simply Soft Yarn is my favorite!
I love to crochet and the Caron simply soft yarn is the only yarn I buy. It is so soft and silky and I really like the weight of it. It’s perfect for baby blankets, hats for people of all ages, and I just finished a granny square blanket. I love the range of colors that are available as well. Being able to order from Joann.com is convenient and my last order was delivered a day earlier than expected- love!!

Love these yarns
Crocheted a rainbow color mandala vest for a 14 year old. She loves it. Used 5 different color brite yarns. The bright colors make it fresh and unique without being too flashy. The yarn is soft and comfy and has a little shine.

Very Soft
I love how soft this yarn is as well as the bright color. I did have an issue though with the stands separating as I was crocheting. It kind of made the edge of my scarf look sloppy.

Texture
Texture was different from previous skeins of different colors I used. This was less soft but didn't split as much. Had more of a cotton feel it. I love Caron yarn and I won't stop using this brand. I used blue mint.

So soft!
I've used this yarn for baby blankets before and I am impressed with how easy it is to crochet with and how soft it is. I like using acrylic yarn for baby blankets for its washability. Bright colors are pretty too!

Not a good yarn and mislabeled
First of all, yarn is labeled as being a 4 medium weight but I would rate it as only maybe barely a 3, so project scale is lessened and stitches and yarn need to be added. Second, the yarn is so slippery that it is hard to hang on to and splits at every other stitch, both making work slow and difficult.

Soft, bright colored yarn.
I bought several colors and all were bright, beautiful, soft, and great to work with. A great value for the money and extremely good quality. Would definitely buy again? Wish there were more colors to choose from.

Like that I didn't have to drive 30 miles to the store. Am disappointed that Caron has discontinue the Brites Lemonade which goes so well with Brites Watermelon however. Didn't know who else to complain about this!!!

Perfect colorway!
I'm knitting an afghan for my brother and his wife using their wedding colors, and this colorway is a perfect match to one of the colors! And I can't find it in any craft store other than JoAnn's website - I'm so thankful JoAnn carries it and has great deals on their online shipping!

Baby Blanket 2016
My niece loved this bright alternative to traditional baby pastels. I wish I'd taken a picture of the finished product.... Here's one of it in progress. ( I also used royal blue and aqua.) Don't be fooled by the mature colors- it's still soft enough for a newborn!

Very pretty and soft
The yarn is pretty and soft and perfectly fine for knitting. It was horrid to crochet with. The yarn untwisted and split a lot. I had to constantly roll the skein to get a decent twist back into the yarn.

Beautiful But a Bit Difficult
I am in the process of making Sophie's Universe blanket, which is coming out gorgeous with Caron Simply Soft. However, it is a bit difficult to work with. The yarn splits as your making stitches, causing the work to go slower. The finished product is absolutely beautiful, though.
