Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Needles! I own a pair of size 3 Clover "Takumi" needles, and I love them. Being wood/bamboo, they are easy on my hands, and the shorter length is ideal for what I use them for - knitting leprosy/tropical sore bandages with #10 crochet cotton. The bandages are only 3"-4" wide, so a 14" needle is overkill. The tips on these needles are slightly rounded, and are great for catching the very slender thread.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from bamboo needles I had purchased these in size 13 when I was doing my scarves this winter and loved them. I recently purchased the size 6 to do a baby sweater and I hate them..the yarn is an acrylic (Bernart Baby Coordinates) and I am struggling with them..The yarn does not seem to glide smoothly on the needle..I am currently ordering a pair of aluminum to use instead. Not sure what the difference would be.
