Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good marking for quilts I have bought just about every kind of marking tool on the market to mark quilts for machine quilting. I have decided this is my favorite. It doesn't stay on long, but I can easily mark one block at a time and it stays on long enough to get the quilting done on the one block. Also, the lighter colors work on dark fabrics - always a problem. It leaves less loose chalk on the fabric than a pounce marker. Plus - added bonus - it seems to last forever. I tried the chalk pen put out by Fons and Porter and that one is a piece of garbage

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love It One of my friends recommended the Chaco-Liner and it's the best thing ever. I use it for sewing and marking my fabric. The only thing I don't like about it, is that it doesn't stay on the fabric for a long period of time. So the line is not as defined like the regular marking chalk. But I still like it, because it last forever and your are not getting chalk all over your hands.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Ever This is the BEST EVER marking system. I have had two, one blue and one white, for 15 years. The chalk seems to never run out. The lines are fine and accurate more so than chalk squares. They are durable unlike pencils which break. No residue is left. I strongly recommend buying both colors.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I purchased three differenct Clover Chaco Liners - this one, slim, and the pen style. The pen style is the easiest to use as it doesn't roll, is fat for arthritic hands, and is long and feels more like a pen.
