Will need to use again
Have only had the opportunity to use this once. I was careful after reading the reviews and placed it just above the top of my bobbin plate so I didn't damage it and I could still change the bobbin as needed. I did find it a little wiggly but the next time I use it I will try adding more pressure when sticking it to my machine. Once removed there was no sticky residue left on the plate.

Amazing tool
I wish I’d heard of this gadget years ago instead of struggling to keep a straight line especially with a very narrow depth. It sticks really well & so far works over again if you follow the directions for reuse.

I liked it, but didn't
This was actually a very good tool when I was piecing my quilt. However, it sticks over the bobbin plate so I tried to take it off to change bobbins and it broke the bobbin compartment. I now have to tape down the bobbin compartment cover. Possible this wouldn't have happened if I had positioned it where it wasn't on the bobbin compartment. There should be a caution/warning on the packaging or maybe I should have thought it through a bit. I didn't think it would stick that hard. I might try the ones that have a magnet but I have heard the magnet will mess up your machine. But I did like the concept for piecing my quilt top.

Great for beginer
My daughter had better luck with this guide than the magnetic type because it can't be accidentally moved. She had to move it several times while working on her project and it continued to stick.

I bought this to use as a seam guide for rag quilts. It is worthless. The sticky part is a mess. It’s hard to place accurately and even harder to remove when done. When set in place it only take a tiny bit of pressure to move it out of line and ruin the whole idea of seam guide. Definitely not worth the money. I ended up getting the magnetic kind which works so much better.

Perfectly straight seams!
This has been a wonderful tool to keep me straight on whatever measurement from the edge of the fabric I choose. It sticks where you want it and stays there. You can move it as many times as you want and it keeps on sticking and leaves no residue. Between uses I can stick them to the top of the machine until I need them again. Love these!
