Best for hand quilting
I bought a pink spool of Coats and Clark 'hand quilting' ..The thread was too thick for my needles. the green spool 'hand quilting dual-duty plus' is perfect. Does not knot or tangle and threads easily.

Not for machine quilting
This may work great for hand quilting but not on my Viking sewing machine.
Constantly shreds no matter what I do, new needles, tension adjustment, nothing works.
