Couldn’t get the
Order filled in store. No way to cancel. It wasn’t ready for week after I needed it. When I ordered online it said it was in store. Joanne’s should say you can get it in store, unless it is in store. And should have a way to cancel orders when we find out you can’t complete them. Never used or received this product at Joanne’s.

My go to for piecing
This is a great thread for piecing and holds together strong. No raveling and seldom does it snap or bind up in my machine while using. Goes on the bobbin easy and does not tangle like some smoother threads A+ for me

Super impressed with this 100% cotton thread!!!
I was looking for a 100% cotton thread for quilting that was not as expensi e ae the 'fancy' imported threads, AND i wanted something i could run out and buy locally and not wait for shipping! My local Joann's had this Coats & Clark and its AWESOME!! you can feel the silky softness of it, just by touching it and yet it is tough and strong and help up beautifully in piecing and machine quilting!! Once your seams are pressed, it disappears right into the fabric! And yet for quilting, it has a gorgeous soft sheen that looks beautiful on top of the fabric as well!! Joann also sells a larger spool of this with around 1100 yards... Its a bit thicker weight - at 30wt - than a typical 50wt piecing thread but it worked great in my machine with a regular size 80 needle. You may want to size up to a 90 needle when quilting though, so it can flow through the eye more easily...i REALLY loved this thread!! That is why i am back online today, to order a few colors ofnit, that arent carried in store... that is my ONLY complaint - I WISH my store carried more colors!! But i am ordering this online, when i could go elsewharere and order the fancy threads, if that tells you how much i loved it!!!

kept breaking.
bought this in black and it kept breaking on me, but in reading another review it might be the plastic spool, I've used other plastic spools with no problem. maybe because its 100% cotton.

Love the Thread but dislike plastic spools they always seem to have barbs on them and it kept breaking my thread as I was quilting so took the spool off and sanded down the edges then it worked great.
