Supplies & Tools:
  • 12x12 Cardstock Sheet, Any Solid Color (1)
  • 12x12 Cardstock Sheet, Any Print (1)
  • Scoring Board
  • Zip Dry Glue
  • x-Acto® Knife
  • Metal Ruler
  • Cutting Surface
 
Directions:
 
  1. Pull out the triangle tool from the back of the scoring board and select the 5" x 7" card.
  2. Cut your cardstocks to 10" x 10" square.
  3. Following the template guide from the triangle tool, score the lines onto your Cardstock to make the outside plain colored envelop first.
  4. Fold the Cardstock on all the scoring lines.
  5. Lay it out flat.
  6. Place the printed Cardstock underneath, and with a pencil, mark all of the scored lines from the plain Cardstock onto the printed Cardstock.
  7. Score the printed Cardstock lines to be about 1/16" smaller than the plain Cardstock.
  8. The printed Cardstock will sit inside of the plain envelope. Score and fold the first line,  checking it to the plain envelope.
  9. Do this each time so that When you score the line you are making sure that it is slightly smaller than the outside plain envelope.
  10. Once all the lines are scored and folded, cut to fit inside of the plain envelope.
  11. Once it fits inside, glue in place with the zip dry glue.
  12. Use sparingly, applying the glue so that it does not bleed onto the plain envelope.



EMBROIDERED CARD:
 
Supplies & Tools:
  • 12x12 Holiday Cardstock Sheets (2)
  • 12x12 Shimmer Cardstock Sheet, White (2)
  • 12x12 Cardstock Sheet, White (2)
  • White Embroidery Thread
  • Sharp Embroidery Needle
  • Foam Adhesive Small Squares

Directions:
 
  1. Print out the snowflake pattern to fit on a 5" x 7" card.
  2. Cut snowflake patterns out and tape them to the backside of your shimmer Cardstock.
  3. Using the needle, punch holes where the embroidery thread will be going in the corners of the design.
  4. Cut a piece of thread about 20" long. Following the pattern and a running stitch, recreate snowflakes on the front of the white shimmering Cardstock and tying your knots on the backside.
  5. Trim excess embroidered thread When finished.
  6. Using your x-acto knife or scissors, trim around the embroidered design leaving about 1/8" of the shimmer Cardstock passed the design.
  7. Layer the 2-holiday cardstocks and cutting one to be 5" x 7" and then the other to be 4 1/2" x 6 1/6". Glue the smaller on top of the larger one using the Zip Dry glue.
  8. Cut the white Cardstock to be 10" x 7" score a line in the middle to fold the card to be 5" x 7".
  9. Attach your finish snowflakes using the foam squares onto the front of the card.



STAMPED HOLIDAY MUSHROOM CARD:
 
Supplies & Tools:
  • Foamie Sheets, Any Color (2)
  • Craft Floral Foam Glue
  • Acrylic Paint, Cream/Lt. Brown/Cranberry Red
  • Small Flat Paintbrush
  • Christmas Cardstock Sheet, Complimentary Colors (2)
  • Fine Tip Paint Marker or Calligraphy Marker, Color of Your Choice
 
 
Directions:
 
Card shown is a standard 5" x 7".
  1. Layer the pieces Cardstock, by cutting 1 piece 4” x 6” inches and one piece of shimmer Cardstock 3 ½” x 4 ½” .
  2. Using the Zip dry glue attach all pieces together.
  3. Size the mushroom pattern to 3" x 4" and make a printout.
  4. Using a Foamie sheet, place the printout of the mushrooms on top.
  5. Trace the image, pressing hard while it is on top of the Foamie. Remove the traced image, cut out the shapes of the mushrooms.
  6. Using the foam glue, attach them to another piece of Foamie, creating a stamp.
  7. When rebuilding the image onto the second piece of Foamie you will do it in (mirror or reflect) so that it does not appear backwards.
  8. Let it dry. Using your x-acto knife, cut lines across the stem of the mushrooms on an angle of 45 degrees.
  9. Quickly apply paint to the surface of the stamp. You can mix the colors right onto the stamp if you desire.
  10. Turn the stamp over onto the middle of the shimmer white paper.evenly pressing down on the stamp.
  11. Carefully peel up the Foamie stamp. Let the image dry.
  12. Using a paint marker, write your phrase above and below the stamped image.
  13. Attach the finished front to a folded white Cardstock of 5" x 7".
