DIRECTIONS:

  1. Cut cork with opening and vinyl using X-Acto® knife on cutting board.
  2. Lay vinyl on WS of cork with opening as per template. Fold over top edge of cork onto vinyl. Cork edge will be close to opening edge. Sew vinyl to cork, on fold, close to edge of cork.

  3. Lay WS of cork with vinyl on RS of one piece of cork. Line up the bottom edges and corners of cork. Sew together the three outside edges 1/8" from the edges.
  4. Fold under outer edges 3/8" and sew close to edges.

  5. Place WST front panel with vinyl and remaining full panel of cork. Clip together the top half. Fold under the edge of the back panel of cork 3/8" on the lower half of one side and the bottom. Line up the folded edge with the folded edges of the front panel. Stitch together on top of the first line of stitching on the front panel. Work around the panels folding the back panel edges in 3/8" to match and stitch to the front panel.

  6. Locate 1/2" down from the top edge, center. Place the back of the eyelet opening at this mark. Trace the inner circle of the eyelet. Cut out the eyelet circle with an X-Acto® knife. Place the large lip front piece of eyelet through the hole on the front of the tag. Flip the tag over and place the back of the eyelet RS up, centered on the long lip of the front of the eyelet. Use a hammer to tap the eyelet back with the tool enclosed in the kit. This will secure the eyelet.
  7. Cut a 14" or longer piece of cording. Place cording through the eyelet and knot the two ends of cording together.
