deforms and shrinks after washing
I purchased 5 yards to make a bathrobe. Fabric is crisp and flat with slight waffle texture, after first wash it shrank massively and the texture totally changed. The waffle texture became exaggerated and extremely rough, no longer suitable for a bathrobe. I expected the fabric to shrink since it is advertised as 100% cotton, but I did not expect the texture to change.

Very disappointed!
I bought this for curtains for my daughter. Washed in cold water, dried on medium I did not see it mentioned anywhere not to put in dryer. Totally ruined fabric!!! So shrunken and misshapen it is virtually unusable for anything but rags. Very expensive rags as I had bought 3.5 yards---it now measures approx 2 yds 8" long by 27" wide!!!

Wish I never bought it
I bought one yard and prewashed it in warm water and medium dryer setting. I was planning on using it for kitchen towels and so I would expect it to be washed like this or hotter. One yard has now shrunk up to 30 inches

Disappointed
Wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. I expected it to be white and it's cream colored. It's also only 48" wide. I've always gotten what I expected from JoAnn. Will be sure to read the reviews the next time.

Very absorbent!
I bought a couple of yards of this fabric a year ago and made unpaper towels from it. I love how absorbent it is. It just really sucks up the water & it's textured surface help wipe up tougher messes. Bit does shrink/draws up a lot.

this is not 52" wide - it is 48" and the color is CREAM even if the picture looks white or off-white. plus the yard I ordered was less than the full 36" at one end and then 37" at the other. whomever was cutting the fabric that day was clearly confused about how long a YARD is.
