product is good ,but I didn't need the setting tool with it and you didn't have just buttons .In general I am pretty disappointed about variety of supplies in the store, lot's of tomes the items out of stock and there is not many fabrics anymore.

Not For Use With Med-Heavy Fabrics
Button kit does not work with my medium weight upholstery fabric...backs will not attach and backs bend easily with any type of extra force. Waste of money for my chair re-upholstery project.

I covered the buttons with a soft yellow fabric and used them to make the center of flowers to be stiched to aprons. The product was easy to use and the button shaft was just the right legnth for the purpose.

Doesn't work with heavier fabric
Wanted to cover buttons for a cushion I am making from left over upholstery fabric. These were unable to close with this mid weight fabric. Not sure if they would even work with cotton. Wasted money

Not for thick fabric.
It didn’t work well for the thick upholstery material I was using. The buttons wouldn’t stay together. After some modifications I was able to make them work.

I like this item!
These are easy to use as long as your fabric choice isn’t very thick. I used a lightweight cotton and the backs just popped right into the fronts with just a good press. I have used these covers in the past and like the finished look of matching or coordinating my buttons with what they are used for. I would recommend this product!
