A good felt in a pinch
I usually use a wool rayon blend felt for backing my fiber artwork. In this instance I could not use wool because of a museum requirement. This felt is a reasonable substitute at a very small price.

Thin, cheap material. Extremely disappointed.
I can't believe the price of this fabric because it is thin and cheap. I used felt as a blackout material for car windows because of its thickness and opacity and the felt I had on hand work perfectly but didn't have enough so had to order this felt online instead of in store due to pandemic. Unfortunately, it is so thin and porous that the light easily passes thru (some spots seem held together only by a couple fiber strands). It is frustrating when companies make things as cheaply as possible and still ask premium prices for it. If I would have been able to see the quality in store I never would have purchased it.

I love the felt but was disappointed that I purchased 10 yards of one color of felt and it was not back on the bolt. It was folded and wrinkled in a big bag.

This Felt is Life Changing Goodness
I used this felt to line several drawers that hold glassware, and for such a utilitarian purpose it was great. It cuts well with sharp scissors. Doesn't pill. Doesn't turn everything orange if it gets a bit wet. I wish I could come up with even higher praise, but hey, it's felt.
