Crepe Back Satin in Black is a Winning Choice
This fabric is acting as two in one for my big project. I am using the shiny side for some parts and the matte side for other parts of a marching band uniform piece, called a "hip cape". I am using this fabric with others to create an addition to an entire high school marching band's uniform for this coming school year! This hip cape design will be seen on the uniform for competitions and football games.

Great fabric but different color
In the end, I liked what I made with this fabric, but the shade is very different from what's show online. I got the golden apricot shade and it's a vibrant yellow gold. The crepe side was also a different shade than the satin, not what I had planned for, but it ended up working well in the skirt I made. Either buy it in person, or don't make specific plans on what you want to use this fabric for.

Beautiful but Difficult
I love the vibrant colors of this collection! I bought some for a cosplay, and I'm wishing I had found a different type of fabric. The machine needle pulls the fabric, causing "rips", much like if you catch a nail on pantyhose. I'm still going to use this fabric and hope it doesn't get too damaged when I wear it, but please be warned! It's lovely but hard to work with due to its delicate nature. I'm worried to even sit in it.

Good fabric, but...
If you're going to order the Alloy color, know that it is not good and is instead silver. I've ordered it twice, once for store pickup and once home delivery, and same result both times. It's lovely fabric, but it's not the color I expected, so just a heads up

Shinny, and sturdy
I bought it, most recently, to make a hat for the Queen at the Renaissance Faire I'm costumer at. I like the shine of the satin and the stability the crepe backing gives it. I've used this on other projects before this
