bad customer service
store was dirty and very unorganized . When I asked for Help i was told they didn't pay them enough to go through the isles. cashier line was really long and the person that was checking out was not done shopping . she kept leaving her basket at the register and going back into the store.

Drys out before project is done
I had high hopes for these pens but I’ll have to stick to the original pens. I’ve tried to use them multiple times and the pen always stops writing before the project is done writing.

Not as smooth and vibrant as I thought, BUT I like that the tip was metal so that it doesn’t bend and such like the felt tips of the regular pens

Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't
I love the colors in the Cricut ultimate gel pen set. I have had trouble with some of the colors running out of ink while writing. I have been storing the pens head down.
I wish there was a file that had all the names with the colors so that I could find them when they are called for in a design.

Pretty smooth
The gel pens write smoothly, but when used with the Cricut Explore 3, it doesn’t always apply the same pressure on my projects. It’s happened with 2 colours in the same respective projects where the writing/lettering resulted unevenly in terms of the print density.

Nice set
Very nice set. Didnt have black. I wish the package showed a sample of the tip thickness. Sometimes the print was light. I was afraid to run the program to do it a 2nd time. Takes a while to dry. Overall it did the job a served my needs. Bought on sale otherwise I would've had to pass.

Gel pens - greats, once they are primed.
Recently purchased these gel pens for my Cricut Explore 2. I attempted to use two of them right out of the box, but both appeared to be dried out. However, after I scribbled on a scrap piece of paper several times, they worked flawlessly. I have since stored them with the tip down. Hope that helps with the rest of them. Perhaps, they need to be packaged differently.

Gel Pens Smear
These gel pens will get on the wheels of the machine and then smear all over the rest of your project - I do NOT recommend these. And, what's worse - is that you CAN'T return them because they have been opened. How would I have known the Cricut wasn't compatible with gel pens to not smear on your project? Even when you set the pen choice to a gel pen. I basically bought these pens and now am out the money I not only spent on the pens but also because I have to buy new material to start my project over. So, I'm not able to use these pens as they will ruin any project I have worked numerous hours on and now have to buy new material as the smear has completely ruined my original. Oh, and new pens that aren't gel. Don't make the same mistake I did.

I received these a little while ago. I used the cornflower blue and it looked like it was dry after a few letters. I wrote on a piece of card stock and now it’s perfect. I used them all to write their name on card stock and they all worked. I have had problems with some not working in the past mostly the gold ones and the Bronze glitter pen. I’m pretty happy they all seem ok.

Leaky and Dry
Some of the gel ink is too thick and so they take forever to dry. They also smear. While others, are too dry and I have to go back over the drawings/writings. Then, they aren’t even when I go back over them and the drawings/writings don’t look as good! All of this results in my homemade stuff looking unprofessional and poorly made
