Can I use generic blanks for myInfusible Ink projects? We took incredible measures perfecting our formula, ensuring that Cricut blanks give you the results we promise with Infusible Ink: vivid, vibrant, seamlessly smooth, and truly permanent heat transfers. If you use blanks that do not bear the Infusible Ink compatibility badge, here’s what you’re likely to notice: Less vibrancy and sharpness. Incompatible blanks will not give you the vivid and vibrant colors you should ex pect from Infusible Ink products. Decreased colorfastness/fading. Infusible Ink designs that get transferred to generic base materials will quickly fade and dull with each wash and/or over time. Imperfections. Incompatible blanks are likely to pill, dimple, and pucker, causing transfers with undesirable imperfections.

Flawed Coating on Square Coaster
Flawed coating on one of the square coasters did not sublimate well. Now I will either have to get a new set to replace the one coaster .... not happy.

Flimsy & Doesn't Accept Color
Flimsy, like you might expect, but for some reason it surprised me.
It doesn't accept color well, especially with layering - which was really pretty terrible. Top layers, with much exposed carrier sheet, actually pulled off the color of the bottom layer. The color ended up dull and the pattern wasn't crisp and clear. It didn't matter if the coaster was still warm or if it was completely cool, 2 days later. Also, you could see where the carrier sheet was placed if it was smaller than the blank (on mine, a not-so-perfect square right in the middle of the coaster around the inked image).
Super disappointing! Especially when we're limited to only Infusible Ink produce blanks for this paper to work correctly.
If you're gonna spend the money on a coaster blank, I would recommend the ceramic so color and pattern is accepted better. Better yet, forgo Infusible Ink everything and stick with HTV and adhesive.

Not what I was expecting
I was expecting these to be ceramic like the round ones are, but they are not. The are very thin with a cork backing and no weight to them. When I set a drink on them, they stick to the bottom of the glass when I pick it up to take a drink. Would really love to see this in ceramic. I will not be purchasing any more of these.

Square Coaster Blank
Purchased these and the first time I used the infusible Ink Transfer Sheet, used my Easy Press for 60 seconds at 400 like instructed and my coaster burnt on one corner and the white peeled up in a few other places. Tried my second coaster at 350 for 45 seconds and worked a little better using infusible ink markers. Also found when peeling off heat tape it peeled some of the cork from the back. Disappointed in product.

Disappointed
Was disappointed to see that the round ones are real ceramic but the squares are a very thin material that feels cheep and like it could break. I watched a video on the cricut Facebook page where the lady was making coasters. She was using the round ones and hand the square ones beside her in the packaging. She mentioned that they are ceramic. I assumed that the round and square would be the same quality. No where on the description of the products does it say that they are ceramic or not or that they would be different. The description should be changed on them. I bought the square ones to make as a gift for someone but now I don’t think I can given the quality. I have loved every other Cricut product I have bought But this one was sadly disappointing :(

They're alright.
They work for cricut invisible ink. Very thin coasters. Biggest problem is the price. Online sellers are MUCH cheaper with the same quality.

Cricut infusible Ink Coasters are Fabulous!
I used colorful infusible ink on these coasters. They turned out beautifully! Easy to do. I chose “sea life” images, and I’ve had many compliments. They have cork on the bottom and won’t harm your furniture.
