Rated 3 out of 5 by from Temperature is way off. Partly satisfied. I have been able to use the autopress to sublimate. The temperature that is set on the control is not the actual temperature of the press. I checked the temperature with an infrared thermometer, and rechecked it with a new infrared thermometer. The actual temperature was lower by 60 to 110 degrees than indicated. The room where I was working was 70 degrees. I waited longer to see if the temperature would rise but it did not. I did go ahead and use it to sublimate onto a tee and the image transferred, however I'm not sure if there will be any future problems with the transfer. So I am using the autopress, but not totally satisfied. It is easy to use.

I called customer service and they were great informed me another Autopress would be sent out, but there was no expedited shipping. I received my new autopress the set up was easy and it works like a gem. I love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Auto heat press is the best This is my second auto press. I had bad luck with my first one, but I love it so much I wanted one again. It worked like a charm and then the lid wouldn’t stay down and I didn’t want to hold it down manually. I looked on FAQ on cricut help page and unplugged it and plugged it back in and it works perfectly again.

It is also VERY easy to use, and it requires little to no strength to open and close, and automatically adjusts to whatever project you are working on. I enjoy this item very much.

The automatic and even pressure is amazing and I love that I do not have to hold the press like I would have to with the EasyPress. The fact that the press automatically opens when the time is up is really nice because I can work on something else while it presses.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Auto press review Can't adjust pressure manually which should be an option for the price of the AutoPress. This doesn't allow for proper pressing pressure to make certain projects using sublimation blanks that require a lot of pressure. Very overpriced for that reason.

Using this Autopress every item I sublimate comes out perfect. My vinyl projects also come out perfect. EVERY TIME! This is well worth every penny spent IMO. The savings on not wasting supplies will cover the cost in no time. Thank you Cricut!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Defective Machine After doing 2 presses it stopped closing and kept popping back open. I tried all the troubleshooting: turning it off/on, unplugging, manual reset button, contacted help many times and it still doesn't work properly. JOANN's won't accept a return because I opened the box.... How the heck was I supposed to know I was opening a defective product!?!? JOANN won't return it and Cricut won't return it. Waste of $700 that I'll never get back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works as good as Apple products Good with the hydraulic press but you need to have the pillow inserts to help with different projects. Some re-pressing does happen but overall it’s a good simple machine. With the project performed so far it has gotten the job done faster but there have been some adjustments and limitations that also have caused delays or not so good outcomes. Practicing good theologies and learning new techniques but overall it is better than the hand iron that was being used before to get the job done. The hand iron is still needed in some projects to finish up setting the presses but it’s the apple of machines that makes it seem easy to get through projects.

I know you have to plug it in to an actual wall outlet, but apparently I have to plug the usb into a real usb port in my laptop? Problem is, I have a Mac and there isn’t a usb port. I have to use an adapter, and it will not work. So I have an expensive machine that won’t work. I’m upset.

But I splurged and purchased the autopress while it was on sale. First I love how it looks and how easy it is use. I like that I can remove the pad and arrange my project. The fact that it automatically opens when it is done frees me up to prep my next project. It is so efficient and I know each project is going to have the right amount of pressure. The autopress has changed my crafting life!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 1 month and having issues. It was great the first day but everytime i have used it after that something has gone wrong. I keep getting an error on the display then it shuts off in the middle of a press. The last thing i pressed the temperature was set at 385 for 60 seconds and while it was pressing the temperature read 400 and it popped the lid up and was starting to cool down. I have only had it for about a month. Going to have to call Cricut after the holidays. I was not very happy that this all happened during Christmas. I had to get out my Easypress when there was a brand new machine juat sitting there.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Won’t heat up I loved my autopress for a couple months and now at the end of finishing my Christmas presents it stopped heating up. Of course it’s Sunday and of course tomorrow is Christmas so I won’t be able to talk with anyone until Tuesday (understandable but still makes me grumpy today). I’ve unplugged it, waited for 2 minutes and turned it back on and it did not heat up. It shows me what it’s programmed to heat up (400) but never goes over 90 - The number it showed when I turned it on. Humbug! I bought it full price early 2023. I’ll recommend the product if it can be fixed or replaced.

It is a little on the heavy side so keep in one spot or on a cart. I love that it shuts off automatically and the outer case done not get hot like the easy presses. I would definitely recommend this auto press.
