Love it!
I know it has some limits to its use, but this tool is incredible! It is SO quiet and SO easy to use. I got it on sale so it made it an even better deal. Now I wish I would have bought the green handled one with all the eyelets.

Wonderful tool
This little guy is great for adding embellishments. I wish that it would go just a little further into the projects though, you are pretty limited but I also wouldn't want the tool to be much bigger so you can't have it all I guess. It also doesn't work great on M.M. brads -- at least the small ones that I have. It works wonderful on everything else so far though! Great product.

Great Tool:)
I just received this in the mail and I really like it. At first, I did not read the directions, and I was ruining every eyelet I put in, but then I read about the different settings and it was a breeze after that! Just make sure you keep the directions so you can look back to them to check which setting you need to use to set your eyelet/snaps. Also, be sure not to squeeze too hard! It doesn't take much to set the eyelet.

BEST TOOL IN MY COLLECTION!!!
I have seen many people use this at crops that I attend and finally bought it myself after going to a free make and take on Saturday. I was about to give up on Eyelets due to the noise of the setters, having to find a hard surface if my mat wasn't available and having my hand go numb after setting a few eyelets. This tool is amazing! Cuts through everything I have put it through including 3 sets of chipboard! My only advice: Read the directions it comes with because I didn't realize you have to move the black cubes to fit your eyelets. So what if they crush the backs of the eyelets? We only glue them onto a card or page anyway,,,, no one sees the back of it.
LOVE IT! I would highly recommend!

Everyone Should Have One!
This is by far the best tool of the year. I stopped using eyelets and snaps because of the hassle, but now I can go eyelet & snap crazy! So easy to use and sets beautifully! First small punch I've owned where you can actually see where you are punching. And even punches through the heaviest chipboard with just a squeeze. I am so impressed, I am buying them for gifts for fellow crafting friends!

Great Product to Have!
I purchased one back in 2006 and loved it so much that I purchased 2 more right away. My 7 year old has her own for her projects and it is easy to use. The only fall back is you have a small margin space on where you can use. I buy them now and include them as a gift in my scrapbook baskets and everyone loves them.

A good tool
While I have not tossed out the hammer and setter, this seems to do everything that I need for setting eyelets and punching holes. I have read the complaints about not reaching the center of a 12x12 but that is superfluous...THE TOOL WORKS!

Not the best...
This punch is ok. It can punch through alot of different materials, but you are very limited as to where you can place your eyelets and snaps. Like other reviewers have said, keep your other tools if you want to do something past the first margin. Also it is kind of weird to use and hold. And it definately destoys the back of your eyelets (no matter how hard or lightly you squeeze)

Best tool I own!
I have started using eyelets again now that I have this tool. (And I ahve several other eyelet setting tools languishing in the drawer.) It cuts thourgh anything and sets the eyelet neatly. Great buy if you can catch it on sale!

Read the instructions
This is a great tool. Having said that, I neglected to do the thing I always taught my children to do -- READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. As a result I crushed several eyelets before I realized the black cubes have to be flipped to the appropriate setting. So easy! The product is a bit pricey but well worth the price on sale. I just set 18 eyelets in a flash!

Greatest Tool EVER!!!
I have always liked the look of eyelets, but never could quite set them right. I've tried the traditional setters and those fiskars ones with the springs. I either damaged my eyelets by hammering too much or couldn't flatten them well enough (all the while making lots of noise). This tool is very quiet, quick, requires little force, doesn't hurt my hands, and sets them perfect everytime. One con: you can only go into the paper about an inch. Keep your old tools but buy this one...well worth the money

Needs improvement.
I like that this tool punches through EVERYTHING! The down fall-it can only go about an inch into the paper. Don't plan on setting and eyelet in the middle of your 12X12's. :( I reccomend you keep you other setters for that.

Best New Tool of the YEAR!
I can't believe how simple and easy this punch and eyelet setter is. I love that I can create mini booklet in a flash. I was about to release my eyelet collection for a spring garage sale, but now I'm using them again. It's rejuvenated my creative arts. The Crop-a-Dile the BEST.

AWESOME!!!
This is a MUST HAVE! I love eyelets again! My hubby works nights, so pounding on eyelets during the day was out...and I didn't care for the 'silent setters'. Now I don't have to worry about making noise or getting to a strong surface! It's WAY cool! And you can punch through anything without hurting your hands! GET IT!!

PERFECT!!!!
I have been looking for something like this, it's absolutely perfect!! Well worth the money!! The only advice I would give would be to save the package it comes in, it has the instructions for the right sized eyelets and what adaptor you need. You are limited to a couple of inches from the edge of the paper to put the eyelets, but it is SO SIMPLE to set the eyelets it's unreal! I am VERY happy with the crop-a-dile!! I punched through over 22 pages of paper with amazing ease! It is much nicer than a silent setter that you have to twist and turn to set. No hammer or mat needed! Great Tool!

Quiet, yet a little awkward
Though I would probably buy this tool again, it is a little awkward to use. I love that it punches through practically anything and sets snaps beautifully. It's easy to apply too much pressure and set eyelets too deeply into the paper-just takes some getting used to. Won't get rid of my other setters, since this one mutilates the backs of eyelets(no matter how careful you are!). Also, it only goes in about an inch, so you can't set eyelets farther in.

This thing is incredible. It can do everything. Set eyelets and snaps into fabric or paper, and it can punch holes in ANYTHING without a problem. It's the greatest tool ever, and so cute and pink!

Wow! The instructions are clear, the tool goes through the thickest craft paper and cardboard with ease. It is gentle on hands that don't really want to work anymore. Ingenious invention and a crafters must.

At last!
This tool is awesome! It makes no noise at all and sets eyelets in a snap! It's a little heavy for a hand took--but who cares when it set eyelets and snaps so beautifully. I used to have to be so careful when setting a snap so I wouldn't puncture the front with the tip of the tool--no worries with this.
You don't have to stand up and use so much force like with the other "silent" eyelet setter that I have. The other one is going bye-bye. This really takes very little effort or strength. It also has handy ruler marks on the hole punch part, so you can get your row of eyelets perfectly lined up.

A Must for Die Hard Scrapbookers!
I have only one question...when are you coming out with a longer version of the crop-a-dile so that we can use it in the middle of a page? This is a great product and I just LOVE it! I've done every page of my scrapbooking using this tool since I purchased it a week ago! I used to hate using eyelets or snaps and now I feel like my scrapbooking world has just opened up to using all sorts of snaps and eyelets. Well done!

Fabulous!
I am new to scrapbooking and card making. I bought eyelets and the tools for them and they have sat on my shelf since. I received my Crop A Dile yesterday and I did a ton of eyelets for fun. Then I taught my 7 year old daughter to use it and she loved it. This will be by far my favorite toy. I am going to drop it at my Stampin' up demonstrators house so she can see how awesome it is. BUY THIS!

Ok, I know what you're thinking - it's too BIG! I thought the same thing until I used it. It's not bulky or awkward to use at all. It goes right through chipboard with no effort required. And for setting eyelets - it's amazing! Just one little squeeze (and I mean VERY little pressure) and presto!

My favorite new tool!
I really love this new toy.. er.. I mean tool.. It punches through cardboard, ice cream sticks, metal and layers of cardstock with no effort. I had stopped using eyelets because there was no really easy, quiet way to set them.. this has really changed all that for me. Buy it, you'll love it!!
